Moving Hands: Expressions of Art and Deafness
This juried exhibit, on display July 6 – 27, features local artists with a connection to Rochester’s Deaf community. The show focuses on individual experiences related to Deafness while exploring how we express ourselves through art and the role that art can play in communication. Participants have been encouraged to explore this theme in whatever way feels relevant to them, and in any medium. Accepted works are available for sale through the gallery. A percentage of proceeds will benefit the Rochester Deaf Rotary.
